Mason Gismondi is the Head of Psychosocial Safety at Bupa, specialising in developing and implementing workplace strategies to manage psychosocial risks and promote positive psychosocial safety practices. He spearheaded Bupa's APAC Suicide Prevention Strategy, highlighting the critical role employers play in suicide prevention by linking workplace psychosocial factors to mental health outcomes. Mason also led the development of the Bupa Psychosocial Health Check, a comprehensive tool used to assess psychosocial hazards, inform control measures, and mitigate harm. With a strong background in psychology and operational leadership, Mason has driven cross-functional initiatives to embed psychosocial safety into organisational safety systems, emphasising work as a key social determinant of mental health and wellbeing.
