The Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre is internationally recognised for its online teaching programs, including having two of the highest rated Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) in in the world: Understanding Dementia and Preventing Dementia. Education includes free online short courses, through to Diploma, Bachelor, and Postgraduate award courses. Most recently, the Wicking Centre has developed the highly regarded Equip Aged Care Learning and Dementia Respite Education and Mentoring (DREAM) Programs. These offerings provide the aged care sector with an ecosystem of education programs, designed to provide cohort-appropriate modularised content to a broad range of levels and roles.
