Alissa’s career in the non-government and the New South Wales and Commonwealth public sectors spans over 20 years. Her experience is in the areas of aged care, disability, business performance, mergers and acquisitions, change management, project management, strategy, research and policy development.


Since joining Apollo Care – an Approved Provider and professional manager of aged care communities, retirement villages, home care services and affordable housing – in November 2023, Alissa has focused on improving Apollo Care’s financial performance and results against its seven key performance indicators. In particular, she has worked with all managers to reduce direct care and hotel services costs, reduce the use of agency staff and achieve better results for residents, staff and the company’s bottom line.


As a lawyer, company secretary and non-executive director, Alissa has strong skills in leading teams through change; fostering strong, high performing and supportive teams; implementing new business improvement and policy initiatives/projects; and researching and analysing complex issues to develop and deliver innovative and workable solutions.
